A Few Words About Me
Prior to forming Doyle Schafer McMahon, LLP, Mr. McMahon was a shareholder of Bonne Bridges Mueller O’Keefe & Nichols, one of the oldest and most respected law firms in the medical malpractice field in California.
In addition to his substantial and successful experience representing healthcare professionals in civil litigation over the past 20+ years, including through trial and appeals, he has been fortunate to develop a tremendous reputation representing physicians and other medical professionals in the most stressful challenges of their professional careers before the California Medical Board and numerous other governmental agencies, including CMS and the Department of Health Care Services
Education
Ray McMahon graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 1993, where he earned the prestigious American Jurisprudence Award in Torts. He has dedicated his legal practice to providing vigorous representation of healthcare professionals in California. Mr. McMahon is highly respected in the legal community, having been voted by his peers as a Super Lawyer in healthcare law from 2012 to the present.
Work Experience
Mr. McMahon served as a Vice-President of the CAAHCP, one of the premier organizations for attorneys representing healthcare providers in administrative matters. He is a frequent guest speaker for numerous organizations on issues of medical malpractice defense and health law. His diverse background of experience in this field, along with his undergraduate degree in economics, allows Mr. McMahon to confidently protect the interests of healthcare providers in virtually any venue or area of exposure.
